This works for me because I already had the 3 piece travel rod from Plugger for use on 2 of my dedicated water units. I ordered the mount for the ATP which is a different grip that incorporates a portion to mount the control housing. Because a whites lower fiber rod is used you will need to shim where the coil bolt mounts with rubber & nylon washers. plugger sells those too and there are no issues as they hold the coil in place better than the stock Garrett set up.Some may balk at spending that kind of money but for water hunting and better ergonomics this is a great set up.

I use a "cuffer" for comfort and the stand pops off for water hunting.
