Five Gold this Weekend

The yellow stone is a topaz setting 13 gr. 18k, Hunted a gully several times started with caps and dimes and finally got deeper over the course of a week to where these came out.

Can you send me a pm and tell me where this 'gully' (I would describe it as a GOLDMINE!) is please? 5 gold rings in a week/weekend is truly amazing! congrats!

Well, it was a result of using the methods that are in the new one. Just looking for the lowest area on the beach and waiting for the right contours to develop. I saw that some nice grade changes were coinciding with some very high traffic ground and knew some gold would be there--sheer force of numbers. It's the old adage of: "to find gold with a metal detector-- first find some gold then place your detector over it."
I also paid a lot of attention to the texture of sand that was available--stay off the overburden.
Works every time. Some of these fall grade and changes make the cold temps worth putting up with.
