Fists Full Of Gold by Chris Ralph

I believe one of the best books available for the small scale miner and prospector is Fists Full Of Gold by Chris Ralph. 362 pages of chock full of information on gold prospecting, small scale mining, and metal detecting. It really is worth a spot on your bookshelf or better yet in front of your nose.

Hi Steve
I have that book ,and agree one hundred percent. Chris did a heck of a good job writing that.
Newbies and old timers all,can benefit by having that book in their collection. Heck he wrote
it,in plain simple language, so that anyone can understand it. I would recommend Fists Full
of Gold to anyone.

I just ordered the book thanks for informing us , hopefully some of the info will sink in

Chris and I get together on a regular basis to prospect and metal detect. He is a really good guy and very knowledgeable.

Thanks for the very kind words. I did put a lot of work into making it the knid of book I wished I had years ago.

Its also available on Amazon.

Thank you Steve for the info on Chris Ralph's book. Based on your evaluation of the book I wasted no time ordering one the same day from Amazon. The book is already on it's way to Australia. Thanks again!

Cheers

Jerry

My copy arrived last night. Hope to have time to read some of it this weekend.
Time is just in short supply.

Got some time to do some reading this weekend. I was tempted to jump to the sections I was most interested in, but decided to start at the front and just read through it first. Only maybe a quarter of the way through right now, finishing up the sluice/drege/drywasher sections. Very informative and useful information.

There are a handful of books I consider keepers that I re-read at least once a year, or keep as subject matter expert reference books. I can already tell this one will also be in that category.

Great resourse.

I just got my copy of Fist Full of Gold from Amazon .com only $26.99 including shipping.Barnes and Nobles has it for $72.00...make your choice... lol..Bear Creek Bill

Used books get priced strangely - even when the book is still in print and readily available. A while back I saw a used copy on Amazon for nearly $200, which is crazy because the book is still in print, and new copies are available.
Hope you enjoy reading it.

Chris

Buying this book is one of the best moves I have made to up my production of gold.
