Fishing camp diggin's

So the weather allowed a brief (ha!) reprieve for those of us who love to get dirty...
Research having been done, I donned the ever present knee pads, and charged the MXT battery...
Spring was in the air, (Well in my addled mind it was)

I head to the site identified as the abandoned fishing camp.... Having a vague idea from my Google earth and Map fumblings....
However it was interlaced with a well known
 
Fantastic reading! It makes me sick to see the leftover garbage remains from past campers. WE'RE campers and we leave the grounds better than when we stepped foot on it. Im glad you found the site, seems like there is always a feeling of fullfilment when finding the Site that youve been researching.
So... any plans on going back, covering more area?
Was there alot of brush or vegetation, where camp spots used to be ?
Well, hang in there, Spring is on its way to the Northern Latitudes,,,

Yeah, I will be going back there as SOON as I can, lol......

It wasn't an actual organized "campground", more a place where fishermen would camp and gather during the season.
It was active from 1900-to about 1940 or so.

Awesome reading...... I'm sure there is treasure there as well, just hiding under the garbage waiting for "The One Who Digs trash" to return......
