Fisher's NEW 15" DD F75 Coil!!

Yep, you read it right, there's a new sheriff in town !

Has anyone tested this bad boy yet?

What kind of depth increase can we expect from the stock 11" DD?

I wonder how much more noisy this makes the F75 LTD/SE?

It's a pricey bugger, but I'm so tempted if it gets an marked improvement in depth and better locks onto those deep small silver coins (dimes/half dimes/etc).

Here's the Fisher Kool-Aid on the coil:

"This 15 inch DD coil gives a huge depth advantage over the 11 inch especially when used with the boost or cache modes. The depth is incredible letting you see that deep virgin ground that is out of reach for all other detectors. The DD configuration and speed of the Fishers still gives excellent separation for a coil this size. "

We've been talking about it some, but no reports as it's not going to be out until next month. I'm trying to figure out if I actually have a viable use for it. HH jim tn

Yeah, wifey was looking over the shoulder while I was looking at it on the screen last night. Got that clearly audible gulp from her. Looks like I'm in for some yardwork, 'cause I want to try it out myself. Big time.

A few fellas and me started hunting a newly acquired park in town last year and popped a little over 30 silver out of there, most at 7-10". In fact I had to get another CZ5 because I wanted to hit those deepies the F70 couldn't quite touch there. Really unloaded clad down to the 8" level also. Tried the 12 * 15 SEF coil on the F70, it was a total bust. Lost depth.

Fairly confident that FT has a tuned coil here that will really let loose the dogs of depth for me. Someone get me a field test report!

Bite the bullet Cal Cobra, get it, field test it, and give us your results, haha, nice to see you posting again!! Cant wait to see your pics of finds with that 15" dd...hh rick in mi.

I have some real nice colonial fields where stuff comes out DEEP......and if I only get another 2-3 inches........it will be worth it for me. I regularly dig goodies at 10-12".. (coin and button sized stuff) and it will nice to push that to 15" if the Ads are accurate. Arrival of the coil "should" be close to conditions around her being ripe to hit the fields..... Would like it SOONER................................but it is what it is.............

If I knew one would be in my hands by April 15th so I could pack for a beach trip, I think I would pre-order one. Since there isn't a guaranteed release date, I'll pack the trusty CZ and PI detectors for the beach and wait for the reports on the coil.

Should be a killer in the right conditions.

I would still like to see a 3.5 x 18 type of coil though.

I may just do it, I have many spots that would be perfect for it IF it can hit deep dimes.

I am very interested in this coil myself, there are alot of old parks near me that have been pounded to death! I keep telling myself, IF I could only go deeper?? Alot of these parks have a fast sink rate, heck I'm digging clad quarters(some only 12-15 years old) at 10"plus.If this coil can add 2-3" in depth we may very well see dimes at a foot,or more hhmmm...hh rick in mi.
