:fisher:whats the best choice ---cz-70 or the cz3d:confused:

There's a nice CZ-70 on ebay right now from a gentleman that I've purchased two from before that were very nice and without problems. I also know a Fisher dealer in Ontario, Canada that has two nice used CZ-70's in stock right now-I've purchased several from him before without problems-very nice guy-I'd be happy to tell you who it is if you're interested-just PM me since it's not appropriate to post due to the forum rules and to respect the fine dealers on this site.

I've had numerous CZ-3D's as well. The best all around detector for land and beach at old and new sites really is the CZ-70.

I hope this helps you decide since I've seen your posts over the last month or so agonizing on which detector to choose-I've been through the same thing many a time and keep coming back to the CZ-70 :)

The CZ-70 certaining is one of the best for old and new coins at old and new sites...JMHO...HH

Either machine is an excellent choice. Every time I go out I have trouble picking which one to take with me. I do end up with the 3d more than the 70. I guess that's because the 3d is a bit more flexible in the way it can be set up. The enhanced mode of the 3d can work wonders in older areas. But in the normal (salt) mode, it's like having a CZ5. I also like knobs instead of push buttons but that's a personal choice. You can buy a 3d new but if you decide on a 70, you'll have to find someone willing to part with theirs. You really can't go wrong with either one. Visit Mike's CZ page for some tips to get you started.

First and foremost both have identical depth and stability if set up corectly but still believe you could have a hotter one of either by the way it was tuned...
Basically CZ70 has weather resistant control box, nightlight, pistol grip and can be set up in graduations of two.Has superior notch which is not linear.
CZ3D is not weather resistant, is a bit faster, has two modes for old and new areas, S type rod has linear notch..can be set up in graduation of 1's and anywhere in between..
My best advice check the CZ3D at your dealer and perhaps a clubmember has a CZ70 so you can compare.
Either way you have a winner...and your call....
Whoops if you buy a CZ3D bew you get a warranty and of course a used CZ70 has none..

I have both a CZ 70 and a CZ3D.I really like them both.I think the 3D might be a hair faster than the 70.I think the CZ 70 is more comfortable to swing for long periods of time.
