Fisher rescues my broken CZ 70

I posted below, how my newly acquired CZ 70 snapped in half the first day in California. My hasty conversion to an emergency hip mount worked well enough to find a sweet wedding band but I wanted a new handle. Just got off the phone with Fisher. The handles are available and they were an amazing $5 a side. A new foam grip was $3. You have to admire Fisher for having these parts available and for not taking advantage of us who love these old detectors. The CZ 70 was a joy on the beach. I just hope I can get loose again to try beach hunting soon.

Wow, Fisher you have my back. Parts came today. I got an extra foam grip at no charge. Not sure if they aimed to send it that way or not. When someone is so good and so reasonable it makes me want to send them the three bucks anyway and tell them thanks. My CZ 70 will be in top form again soon. Thanks, Sylvia and Fishers.

Yep seems like a lot of strain on the plastic handle of the CZ70 and CZ7A pro but easily fixed with new parts which can be bought from Fisher. Had one snap myself several years ago and was an easy fix with the proper parts which Fisher can supply...
