:fisher:OK GUYS WHATS THE DIFFERENCE CZ-20 VS 1280:shrug:

semper fi, the 1280 has a preset GB, and is a single freq. detector, and is a good water machine. the 20 is a multi freq. machine with 3 tones and manual GB and is a great water machine. i have both and use both. you will do a lot more digging with the 1280 if you keep your disc. low which you should if you want to go for the gold. with the cz 20 you can be a little more selective when selecting a target to dig, and other than that about $400 bucks in cost. hh, bob n.

Indeed you can be more selective with the CZ20 and the tones, but the biggest difference CZ20 is locked in a CZ saltmode and performs much better in wet saltsand conditions..As far as the 1280 been a favorite freshwater unit for many years.. So in addendum if you hunt salt and fresh water go for the CZ-20 and just freshwater go for the 1280..
Seems like the CZ-20 had some pinpoint problems with repair needed while the 1280 has had little or no problems..Personally for real small gold CZ-20 is a tad more sensitive than the 1280...Either way excellent units depending on your hunting conditions...
