:fisher:No need for a second detector for the beach, 75 does it

Well gang my worries about having to buy a dedicated beach detector is put to rest. Got out to the beach early in the AM with low tide. Went right to the waters edge. I ran in Motion all metal mode. Manual GB was sub 20s, thresh -3 there was a slight hum but when over a target you got a nice Whoop! Whoop! I was getting a little falseing but i was playing around with the settings. Clams squirting water up in the air was cool as well as the horseshoe crabs. The finds weren't much but i got and set out what i wanted to know. Saved myself from buying a detector. Silver hoop earring and a little gold ring along with a ton of clad and some trash. Was a cool break from the park and wish i was there now after the heat wave we had over the weekend. Enjoy the picks boys.

Because once you use this F75 other detectors feel obsolete.

Did you have to manual GB, like the book says, or did the fast grab get low enough.

I know you know exactly what I am saying about the feel of the F75. I just wish everyone could use one once, and have an idea of the comfort, and the abilities of this machine. Looks like the F70 users will at least know the feel, with a little less ,on the ability side of things. But if what I am reading proves out not much loss on abilities. In fact, I am thinking about an F70 purchase for a grab and go coin machine.

EZ,

Thanks for the beach report. I'm on the verge of taking mine out to the San Diego beaches I know well and see how she does. To reiterate the last poster's question, did you manual G.B. or fast-grab?

Jim

What state are you in and what sens where you set at? Ive been using mine on the beaches in NJ and it gets a little noisy above 60 on the sens. I GB from 5 to 20 depending on where Im at on the wet sand. Hits real deep with the sens at 60.

That is simple can be used up to 6 feet deep in water, is SUPER DEEP because the frequency is 2.45 VF
[VOICE FREQUENCY], and the lightest thing going? Has no meter, no multi tones and preset ground.
The HEAD HUNTER WADER is the way to go. TY BROOKE told me it was the only detector he ever used
that would hit the deepest silver dime in his coin garden, and THAT man knows detectors:thumbup:.
WHAT IS SCARY IS SLIPPING OUT IN THE SURF AND YOUR F-75 GOES "PLOOF" {underwater} f-75:nopity:

Nice report and Pic EZ, Did you try Tinfoils settings..If I lived 3 mins from a beach..i would never sleep....NICE..

I used manual GB in the wet, it was around 20. Fast grab did work in the dry but with any type of hunting if you want the edge always manual over fast grab. I would never go in the surf or water with the 75 and as you can see from the draw down of the tide i wouldn't need to. I found jewelry in the wet salt sand with the 75 and we all know the 75 is prove a great relic hunter as well. I just needed to know in the back of my mind if this machine could handle all aspects of hunting. I am writing a book on the 75 btw. I'm not sure i i will publish it or not, just toying around with the idea. The simplicity of this machine overrides allot of what its capable of doing.

Vlad, i know there are dedicated water machines out there. I have looked at them myself. I also understand that each machine spacific to one type of hunting might be better than one that does it all. I could have a CZ-21 "water" 1270 "relic" CZ-3D "coins" Goldbug2 "Jewlery" all in the closet, but i now know that one machine can do it all very well.

Nice job on the beach foray EZ! You have the workings of that F75 down pat. Congrats on the ring too, WTG:thumbup::fisher:
