Fisher ID Excel is a sweet machine!

I have got to say I think this machine is sweet it hits every target in my test bed the deepest being a 9" 69 caliber CW bullet. I love the tones and the simplicity of it and it's like swinging a feather. I'm amazed thus far with it and I hope to get out soon for a real world hunt with it. I will let you guys know how I do! Wish me luck!

Good Luck 88junior,
I own the I.D. Edge and feel these 2 machines are highly
under-estimated and my reason being is Fisher made the
control box way small and feel this deterred people
from buying these tiny box detectors that really can
pack a punch. Very under-estimated. I believe your
Excel was a design made for Billy (The Kid) Ladd...
Great Detectorist and Historian. Anyway BEST Of Luck!!!!
These 2 machines will Get'R' Done and Id's in All Metal...

What gets me about this machine is how it double beeps with coins on edge and it even gives a accurate ID. I've never had a machine that could do that. Another nice thing about it is it's ID range just goes up to 36 which will be easy to remember where coins and those pesky pull tabs fall in at. I'm kinda of wishing I would have got one a long time ago.

Exactly why I went and bought an Edge again.
Lightweight like a Tesoro, easy to use, back packable, swing it all day, it easily replaces three Tesoro detectors.
Instead of having three Tesoros, all I need is one Edge.

Too bad Fisher shelved these two units when First Texas bought them out. Guess the F series detectors were First priority.

Enjoy your new machine.
