:fisher::help:has anybody used the cz-20 0n dry land?:shrug:

takes all of the weight off from the shaft makes it easier to swing in the water and much lighter on the sand.
i prefer my garrett but usually don't take it along if i'm planning on water hunting. so if the water is to rough i use my cz20 on sand.
do jewelry on dry sand yet, but it's only a matter of time.!

Semper, The 20 works well on land depending on the area and conditions. It will pick up shallow Iron sometimes. run it with volume max, sens max and ground balance properly. put disc on zero and take your time . I've made some very nice old finds with mine on land.. Very good depth too.

I used a CZ20 at a park and school early this year.My settings I used low discriminate three quarters sensitivity.Used a wide belt to hip mount, balance was probably a little better than my Sovereign.I did find some deep silver and wheat coins.Not having a meter didn't make that much of a difference for me.Even though I have limited experience with this unit I think it would make a great inland metal detector.One advantage with this detector it would always be weather proof.
