Ok I havnet been on in a while due to school, but am back. Anyone been taking their gold bug any modle for nuggets latley? Im amazed by mine I found some small old boot tacks bout 5 inches or so and this thing is real fun to use. I was just wanting some insights on settings or dealig with hot rocks, or numbers to read when along rivers for gold. I mean is Discrimination anygood? I got a .4 gram nugget i take with me and it gets a good single bout 4 inches or so with a nice single. Any info would be great. Im only a 2nd year hobbiests, and am getting better. Thanks Jess

Fisher Gold Bug and Gold nuggets

Well not having using it for some time, i have been using it bout 3 times this past few weeks. Was going to take some pictures but my camra died. So i couldn't take many. I have found that using it slow, and getting it to read the ground and area around me seems to be my best bet. I have gotten more targets, and even hit some moss that was giving me a fair sinlge so i tore if off the bed rock and put it in my gold pan. For the amout of material i put in my pan I was amazd by the small gold and the huge amout of black sand i got. Im going to call bed rock moss Detector moss...

WEll Keep swing.Well i got a nother small nugget. I ended up detecting on some bed rock and would scrap all my targets on the bed rock into a bucket. I ended up with a small sized pin head nuggey/picker. And another 2.2 gram peice of natural led. Its a rounded ball beauty. Well im going to go out again and try for a bigger one. Also got alot of trash from the river. I took all that stuff home and disposed it in my junk bucket. Sry the pictuer of the gold is kinda out of wack. But its the bigger peice in the middle left kinda blury but you get a picture of it.
