Fisher finds a cannon ball...(long)...

I guess it's safe to say you are headed back there again? I'd beat that place to death if I were you. There's gotta be more there. According to that picture, they fired at least 4 rounds! Congratulations....that's a great find!

Went back to the cannon ball site, only had 1.5 hours. Found two more Ox shoes, a few pieces of scrap iron and this nice cross, it

About 2 more hours of detecting the cannon ball site. Found some iron relics and that was all today. Tree roots were kickin my butt this hunt, LOL! Wish I had more time for the site but this was probably the last hunt there for awhile. Here

Excellent finds Mike and the Cannon ball is a great find indeed, That's a find you'll never forget.

If the battle took place on September 15, 1704, Then this date would be on a Monday. Relish those moments in there while you hunt or explorer, Sites like these are so rare to come by.

Congrats, Paul (Ca)

Thanks Bill for the warm welcome,

My T-2 is off for repair, The plastic meter handle grip broke clean off the S-handle. Sent it in yesterday and included the proper amount for the audio upgrade, Hopefully it will be back soon.

So, I'm back to using my Explorer again until the T-2 returns. However, I still need to get a Fisher ID Edge to try her out. I've read allot of positive responses about the ID Edge.

Also, Your post of sites and finds remind me of how I used to post on a forum here in California, Same blow by blow detailed explanation with pictures of the adventure and finds of the day. I relish moments like these and hopefully can share with you and the others in the future.

I've taken a break from sharing with others, I needed a rest. Still metal detect but more on a low profile level, Maybe in the future I'll open up again.

Thanks again amigo,
Paul (Ca)
