Just bought a new F75 SE for Civil War relic hunting. Do you pros have any tips to share ???

Thanks,
Virginia Digger

I use mine for relic hunting and prefer AM along with the boost process 2T. Start out with factory settings for AWHILE and after some time on your machine and hunting in your area you may want to make some adjustments. The F-75SE is one machine that does what it is designed to do. What works for other parts of the country or across town may not work for you. Take your time and learn all you can about what works in different areas and you will be rewarded. A shovel is a must with the F-75 when you are hunting relics. Good luck and be carefull in this heat. HH :fisher::minelab::teknetics:

Hello Virginia digger. You made a great choice in the f75. Very versatile. Machine. Can I ask what have you hunted with before it will give me an idea to give you a starting point. I have used many machines and can kinda convert. What you're accustomed. Too. To make it an easy transition to the. F75se HH. Tom. Ps welcome to the world of lightning fast. Target seperation and prepare to be impressed!!!!!!!!!!!

Large iron can sound like silver. But the tone will be broken up. The F75 is more for coins than relics. The T2 would perform better for you when searching for relics. This is just my thoughts as I hunt with two guys who use the T2. Not knowing the difference you will just have to look for the broken signals and low VDI Numbers in Discriminate mode. In all metal there is not much of a problem, and it is very deep.

You have two sides of the VDI screen. One is for discrimination modes, and the other is for All Metal mode. The settings of one side will effect the settings of the other side of the screen. It is best to perform a GB in All Metal mode first. Also do a frequency shift to get the highest sensitivty settings. Dont be alarmed at low sensitivty settings. I tend to run the F75 a little on the noisy side.
