Fisher F70 vs the Fisher Coinstrike ?

bit deeper ( A LOT) The F70 has a great 10" concentric coil that goes deep..

The Coinstrike is usually more difficult for people to grasp as it's kinda quirky and has a very different number system rather than 0-100 & a threshold that was more like a sensitivity. But, I had a simple time setting up F70 because I was going from an F75.
Both have several coil choices, and instant real-time processing speed. The C$ has alot of nice things different like ground tracking, salt mode, hipmountable, and it really locks onto coins maybe better than any other detector I have.....

Hmm....it's a real conundrum, keep the C$ and the three coils or sell it and put the $$ towards the F70 (or possibly F75)...

I know what you are going through trying to decide what to do.

The F70 or f75 would be a lot lighter, thats for sure. The weight aspect is a real spoiler! I have some uMAX units which feel like a ton compared to the F70 weight.

I would suggest trying to meet up with someone in your area, or even drive a ways to see someone that has either unit(F70 or 75) and compare em out in the field, if at all possible before you take the plunge and sell off your C$ with all the coils.

I have used both the F70 and the C$. They both work well. I would say the F series has a more refined user interface and probably more depth ability too (in my areas anyway).

Best of luck in your difficult decision.

Tony
