Hi,,Does anybody know the battery time on the f4.It seemed the rs model ate them up rather quickly.And anybody know what frequency its set to,,Thanks,,,Thinking of getting one.
 
It is a single frequency at 6.8 kHz I haven't timed the F4's battery power but it lasts a long time on a set of good 9 volt alkaline batteries. Don't compare the F4 with the R.S. model they are two different beasts,nothing in common at all. I have been using the F4 all this summer & find it to be one of the best & fun to use detectors I have owned in my 15+ years of detecting. Steve.
