Fisher F4? or BH Pioneer 505 Pro?

Zincky

I'm looking for pros and cons about the Fisher F4 and the Bounty Hunter Pioneer 505 Pro. I have a Bounty Hunter Fortune Hunter(had a blast with it) and I am looking to upgrade. But I can't decide on the F4 or the 505 Pro? I live in Colorado, so I will be doing a little of everything.....coin to gold. This is about my price range right now.

Thanks for the info.

I have an F4 (6 weeks now) but I dont know and have not used the other machine you mentioned, so I cant compare them. I am enjoying the F 4....with the 11" DD coil it covers ground like you wouldn"t believe while picking up coins at good depth..I am very pleased with mine...I have more expensive machines which I use regularly, but I am not disappointed with the F4. It is easy to ground balance, responds well and pinpoints very easily without having to use the pinpoint function. Good luck.

Furious T, Hello. Thanks for confirming what I have heard about the F4. I do like that 11" DD coil on it. People that have the 505 pro must not thing as highly of them, not that I have anything against Bounty Hunter, like I said I have had a blast with the one I have and like the ease of use. I am looking for the most bang for the buck thing. I hope to hear more on both.

Thanks.

I've heard good things about the F-4.
There is a Fisher 10" Excellerator Search Coil for the F4 and
a 4inch excelerator coil (both after market coils)
I found them on Kelly Co.

Have you thought about the newer model, the F-5?
