hi agian have one ? if i find something valuable like gold or silver ring etc should i keep the ring or where do you guys take the ring to get money for what it is worth thank you agian for the input just wanted to know that if i ever happen to find valuable ring or coin etc

I think it all depends on the ring for me. Any rings I find ( not many) I just put them in my wifes jewerly box. Now if it was worth a couple thousand I would probably sell it. If there is a chance you can track down the owner I will try to do that too. I once found a class ring with the owners name in it. Just so happened one of my sons knew who it was and we were able to return it to him.....I have not sold any rings so I can't help you with where to sell them.

Many times we find Rings and such that we are not able to find the owner. Now we have a new addition to our collection of rings and trinkets. Sometimes I find that better than keeping it in a Jewelry Box at home I can turn it into Cash by taking it to a local Jewelry store. I found one here in my area that gives me 70 to 80% spot. Shop around a little to find someone that will pay you TOP dollar. DO NOT GO TO A PAWN SHOP They WILL RIP YOU OFF !!!
I have downloaded a couple of programs off the Internet that help me get an idea of what the Scrap gold is worth. I just went and looked for a program that would give me a Scrap gold calculator for free. Then I weight my gold and it gives me an amount. Some gold dealers will give you 80% spot will others will give you 70%. It's all Gravy
