Fisher F2 ?'s

Hello, kind of new around here, been lurking for a while, was recommended to check this place out from a fellow over at treasurequest forums, seem's you all have quite an F2 following over here, and I just recently bought one for my Dad,on recommendation from Wanda over at Kelleyco.
Now my dad lives 3000 miles away, and will be visiting this summer,he may be able to bring it with him for us to share some detecting time together,I was also thinking on getting an F2.my Question is,would we be able to hunt together or will the two being on the same freq interfere with one other?
Thank's,
Hank

Of course you would, you just have to keep a respectable distance from each other to avoid the coils
from cross talking with each other.

I don't know how far apart F2s need to stay to prevent interference from each other. I've not been hunting with another F2 owner. But, I have hunted with my brother. He has a White's MXT. And, we hunted side by side and had no problems. When you get together, do like my brother and I did. Turn both machines on, get them close together and just see if they interfere with each other. If they do, move apart until you loose the interference.

Good luck. And, I hope you have a great time with your dad!!

Hank I am a Floridan an an avid Fisher user. The F2 needs space from other F2's. Approximately 20 to 30 feet should be good. Wanda's recommendation is good. I own 5 starter level machines of all major US manufacturers, and this little unit packs a lot of value for the money. It is an extremely quick response unit with great depth too. Here's to "diggin it"! Larry
