Anyone know if there is an internal ground balance pot on F2 board?

Why any manufactuer would incude a pre-set ground balance is beyond me. Same deal with "auto" tracking. Sure, it's a no-brainer but ground balance is cricital to depth and ID at depth. Auto tracking is better than fixed but just the same it's a compromise on depth.
 
He explains that he did the mod and got several more inches with it turned. I just picked up a f2 and will do the mod if someone can list the part number. Will probably join that forum to keep track also.
