fisher f point

Oh yeah, I've "compared" those two along with MANY other pinpointers to the Pro Pointer.----Nothing to talk about---Garrett Pro Pointer all the way!---It's the best hand held pin pointer on the market at this point in time, hands down. (IMHO)

My Propointer is a tool that I love so much that I refuse to hunt without one and I bought a second one as a spare to make sure there is no chance of that even happening.
I tried using my F-Point as a doorstop but it wasn't even very good at that.
Might make a decent back-scratcher in a pinch...maybe.
The F-Point is better than nothing as far as a pinpointer...but just barely.

after all the replys to my question ,there is no doubt which one to get,not a big fan of garrett but if it works thats the one..thanks guys

The F-Point! not even a good dollar store toy.
Now the Pro-Pointer that's a different story, works VERY well and its built to military specs. Garrett got it together with their pinpointer for sure.

I've used the Minelab, and was impressed. If/when my pro-pointer dies, I'll definitely be considering the Minelab.

I don't know if we are going to live that long Pete! (to see the Pro Pointer die)

Good depth is good with a pinpointer, but to much in a bit of trashy area and it will pull you off the main target. Two to Three inches is about right, now the F-point at about one half of an inch isn't "good depth"
