Fisher Excel Questions

Hi all, thinking of returning to metal Detectoring as I'm feeling better. I havae back and leukemia . But not doing any thing else. I had an Excel when they first came out, only problem was mine was one that would not beep ground balance here in South Texas, but worked better than any detector I had ever used. Question is do they still have this problem in some areas ??
Back then the general concensus seemed to be eveything was actually normal ?

Anyone want to sell me one ??

Fisher did tell me, when there was confusion on these 4 beeps that this WAS normal. Just kind of a warning that you were on hot ground. It will still work. I can't balance in wet sands here. So I think one decent solution now is to start on FP mode that has a a set auto balance.....Sorry, I'll never sell mine BUt they pop up used cheap on classifieds sometimes. But I wouldn't know because I have been "Banned for LIfe"! :banned:

Bill, tell me more. I remember someone else had a web site that banned people ?? email me if you desire to tell where classified is you are refering too. Not trying to stir things up, just looking for used detector.
