Sometime later in the year. Just heard this from a distributor. Don't know anything else except it will be called a CZ21.---Wade

Actually thought the CZ line would be gone in the near future..
Now I am awaiting a CZ with a 1-100 meter and a toggle from VCO to regular pinpoint..Would blow away anything on the market...Lets see for analog..CZ8-A and for digital CZ8-D...just wishful thinking on my part but lets hope the powers to be are listening...

Hope they put the nickel where it should be on a water machine. On a land machine it is great to have the nickel in the high tone of the coins.

I hope they improved it for fresh water hunting. Better GB in low mineral conditions and improved small gold sensitivity!

I hope it's made on the old CZ20 platform, and not a water proof sharpshooter with CZ20 stickers.

i spoke to Fisher yesterday, they did say the CZ21 is in the test stage, and will house many of the old CZ20 components.but other than that they would not say anything else about it except it is to be out Oct 1 07.

It will be called the CZ-21, and they have done improvements to it. From what I understand the cosmetics will be the same.

This was a Dave Johnson design to start with when it first came out, Dave is at the new Fisher now, so consider it a extention of the original.

Release time, early Fall ?

I have them on order along with the other Fisher dealers that are sponsors here at Finds do. I'm sure the dealers will post it when they arrive. :)

I've found the pinpoint very useful on those small items that sometimes disappear after the 1st scoop of sand is removed. The pinpoint can be very useful to help you locate a small ring that may have moved or turned downward in the hole. I don't use it often but it has help me find a lot of small gold rings and jewelry.

Oh man that was funny!!! Will be down there Saturday...find me a place to hunt that I won't need a boat to get to!!!:detecting:

I think the pinpoint should stay, but its irrelevant my current water unit works great(CZ20).

That is one of the major renovations. The pinpoint button will be improved. Have returned the CZ20, I just purchased and am waiting for the CZ21 release. No more lifetime warranty on this unit though. 1 year ya'll. I just gotta have one! GH

Seems the new Fisher has less faith in their new products.
