Fisher CZ 6A meter problem

On my CZ 6a the meter does not read want the metal is. It will show everything as foil or silver. When I first got it was very accurate a penny came up as a penny and so on what should I do?

Put in 2 fresh alkalines unless your batteries are new.

Hope your meter is not broken...might give Fisher a call.....and talk to a tech.....

Hi 007, Try this if the meter hand is sticking. Rub two dryer sheets " yes the ones that go in the dryer" see if that will make it move more to what you are detecting. This time of year static will build up and the hand will not work as it should. Can't hurt, and might just work for you. flintstone

The meter on my CZ5 went bad a couple a months ago , I called Fisher , they only have meters for CZ3ds , which was fine. I sent them the coil and control box. Took One week and $85.00 and it works perfectly HH Tony
