Fisher coinstrike vs minelab sov gt in depth and soil capabilities?

HI,

My buddy has a sov gt and I will soon have a fisher coinstrike. Has anyone ever used both of these and know the pro's and cons? I don't want him to kick my butt unless the machine is better lol!

I have used both. The CoinStrike vs Sovereign that's not a fair fight.Have your buddy turn the sensitivity all the way down, very low volume on the Sovereign and give you a head start.Good Luck.

I wish people would just see that when minelabe makes a claim its not just hyp they are incredible machines minlabe will spoil you fast

The detector is in awesome shape, just had to wait on a pair of timberwolf headphones which arrived today. The weather has been bad and I have not had time to get out yet. I'm getting started on building a new deck for my parents over the next six days so I'm hoping to get out at least a day to detect. Will post my results. thanks everyone!

I would think its all about how well you know and use your machine..Sov. to me was easy to learn but Coinstrike was a toughie but got me some nice silver...

I would say flip a coin if you both know your units well as bith are excellent and Coinstrike is one of the most misunderstanded units on the planet....
