Fisher Coinstrike and whites 5900/Di Pro sl question

Hey everyone, I have a question about these detectors. I own the fisher coinstrike right now and have used it a few times and it really don't seem like too bad of a detector. I just recently purchased an explorer xs again as I have owned a few over the years and just keep going back to them. I bought the coinstrike last year because I had to sell my explorer for some cash cuz I got into kind of a bind. It don't seem as bad as everyone made it sound but I have not found nothing significant with it either but I have been hunting parks that have been pounded by me and my buddy with every detector under the sun pretty much lol. I don't really need the coinstrike now that I have the xs again but don't have to get rid of it either. I did have someone want to trade me straight across for a whites 5900/Di pro sl that looks brand new and is really nice. I don't know much about these detectors but have used classic id's and spectrum xlt's and think the classic Id whooped the xlt. The coinstrike came out around 2003 but I cant find a specific date when the whites was manufactured. Would it be comparable to the coinstrike? I see the selling price for the coinstrike and 5900 on ebay have been pretty close to the same. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Travis Quinn

i have a 5900 and like it very much....i also have a sov gt and excal.....i kinda like the 5900 as it does some things the minelabs dont and visa-versa....i have never used a fisher unit but would imagine the coinstrike and 5900 should be pretty close in ability but like i said i have not used a fisher...the 5900 with the 5.3 coil is great in trashy areas ....but like any unit it takes time to get good with it....then again if the coinstrike is treating you good stick with it....i believe the 5900s were probably from maybe late 80s early 90s...
