FISHER COIN$TRIKE - MINT CONDITION - Dealer Demo - Indoor Demos Only - Full Warranty:fisher:

This Coin$trike has never been on the ground. Indoor air tests and carpet demos only. Coil Cover included. Full Lifetime Warranty. MSRP is $1,099.95. Make this one yours for only $789.95

Speaking with Fisher yesterday, and they said NO Warranty on dealer Demo units. They consider it a used detector. :nono:

ANY ONE CAN PLAY WITH A FISHER FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG AND THEN MAKE THERE CASH BACK BY KEEPING A BLANK CARD IN THE BOX AND SELLIN IT. BY THE TIME THE CARDS SENT TO LOS BANOS IT COULD BE THE 5TH DAM OWNER! FISHERS SHOULD HAVE MADE THE RULE THE DEALER WHO SOLD IT HAS TO SIGN THE CARD AND MAIL IT IN WITH THE RECITE OR SOME THING.?
H.

I bought a dealer demo CS last year from a dealer and I got the full warranty. I know it was covered for a fact because I had to send it in for a repair issue. It was covered.

So maybe this is a new thing  I bet Chuck works it out so that whomever does buy it gets the warranty. So don't let this put you off. Talk to Chuck.

HH

With the selling of Fisher expect new rules and regs...Hondo has a good idea and some dealers do send in the warranty unless of course it is a gift..Have to believe Mike is right and Chuck's unit should get a full warranty as advertised as its my understanding items in stock prior to the sale are treated as same as when delivered to dealer had a full warranty in effect at that time...

OK Shane....have it your way......it's baloney for you, but anyone else who is considering the detector, it is a new unit with full lifetime warranty.:fisher::beers:

I am the DEALER who is selling it, and I will sign the warranty and send it in for whom ever purchases it. Why has thread turned into a "coffee clache" full of gossip? This is a fully warrantied Coin$trike, never sold and never used. It has hung on the wall of my showroom....I am a Fisher dealer.....dah! :beers:

I just don't think its appropriate.I also think transactions between a dealer and customer need two remain confidential. HH Ron

since this is coming from a deal as a demo model with a full warranty, this makes it a slightly different animal and worth the extra money, unlike buying used and not knowing what your getting.

I bought a Demo CZ70 from Ronnie Dugger of Dixie detectos a couple years ago and it came with a lifetime warranty. It was basically new in the box, until I opened it and tried to remove the control housing from the handle and it popped off hit the floor and broke. I called Fisher, explained the situation. They could have said, it's a demo model and not covered, it's your fault so you have to pay the repair bill, but they didn't. They said send it in for repair, which I did along with the filled out warranty card. They fixed it up and sent it back to me with no charge.

Thank you Mike....you are right, it IS under full lifetime warranty, being sold by a dealer, and when the new owner opens it, he or she will not be able to tell the difference. It is a NEW unit, with a box that has been opened!

it was in mint condition with warranty card, but it wasn't a dealer demo. I could have easily bought one on the classifieds for $500.00, but I wouldn't have been buying a machine from a dealer who was willing to stand behind what they sell. I know if I had a problem with the C$ once I received it, Dave would have taken care of it because he's good people just like Chuck is and that's the service you get when you buy from a dealer versus buying from a private individual.

So for me, I would rather pay the extra bucks and buy a little piece of mind right along with the detector thank you very much.

The dealer is the agent, so if he has not tittled it, he can still sell the detector as new. Just as long as the customer has all the paper work that the dealer issued at the time of sale.
I won a detector at a hunt and I still was issued the warranty.
Thanks
fjm

I agree the extra money spent with a dealer can prevent a lot of unexpected problems.I support and purchased from dealer's who advertise on this site and as a customer their service was great. Most buyer's get in trouble when they purchase used detectors that have a price just too good to be true.Usually there's a reason the price is so low. Fisher at 209-826-3292. and ask them if Demo detectors carry the full lifetime warranty.

Now we all are aware that all he has to do is not mention the word Demo on the sales receipt, Fisher will think it

You certainly have that right John! I guess Shane just has too much time on his hands, and very little trust in his fellow man.:nopity:

We luv ya anyway Shane:thumbup:

I never cease to be amazed by how many "ex-CB radio" afficinados now want to :argue: on the forums!

Suffice to say that the machine in question, is NEW, with full lifetime warranty and has only been hanging on my wall. If that isn't good enough for any potential buyer, then please join Shane and pass on it.

I have grown weary with the "doubting Thomas's", and would rather not deal with them. Common sense tells me that if they are this arumentative and dis-trusting up front, I'd rather not know them.

To the rest of you guys who know me and how I do business, THANK YOU for your support!

This is very true Shane! A dealer is in business, to make a profit, so if he does not make a profit, he wont be in business long.
Same holds true with some that want to give away the store with the detector. But try to go back to that dealer, and see if you get service afterwords!
I have always as a dealer, prided myself to give the best service possible to all customers, and be here for them way after the sale.
Product knowlegde is also very important.
Ron
