Finally got me another fisher coin strike! Great machine, cant wait to get with it. Got a great deal from Frank in NH. Thanks again.Frank!

Hey TreasureDog! I also traded for a new Coinstrike a couple of weeks ago. I haven't had time to take it out yet, or maybe just feeling a little intimidated! There is a lot to learn about it and haven't just got in there to "git er done!" Like my others that are pretty much turn on and go. Good luck with yours.

Hey LX Kid, Ive had a coin strike before and it is a nice machine. I havent been out with it,just in my yard. I would recommend getting a 10.5 inch coil, gives a few extra inches. We will have to compare finds.Happy Hunting!!

I took my coin strike to a local park and found $2.45 cents(a 1901 barber dime included in count)! I used the 10 1/2 inch coil and yes I found the usual trash, but had a great time with it. I used the 525 setting(5 sensitivity,-25 threshold).

hey guys whats happening just currious i see alot of these for cheap money but they look like a real kick ass machine so i'm trying understand why there resale value is so low just currious on there performance and what freq they run on?

People dont take the time to learn there machine is all that I can guess! I love my coin strike!!! I read the frequency is 7khz(The Fisher Coin Strike Home Page)

The"new" Fisher decided not to continue manufacture of the Coinstrike. They released them to their distributors & dealers at a rock bottom price. At this time a new one retails for $550.with full warranty. So if one can purchase a new one for $550., used ones are going to go for about $300.

I have plenty of new Coinstrike's, and some re-furbished ones. All with factory warranty. Interested ?? Drop me a note for any questions you may have.

wcrabtre@comcast.net or PM me.

I also own a coin$trike and like mine alot! They are not that hard to learn to use, the coin$trike does work very well, alot of users think they are to noisy but they have the gain turned up to far, I just saw one go for $255 on ebay yesterday, that is a real bargain and a half for a machine that works this well!!
