I just looked at mine can't tell by looking at it. But I do have the bill of sale from fisher dated 9/28/02 (wife keeps everything) Still works fine. OOPS the detector I mean

well is yours that line ? does it have the blk headphone white coil? ? and whats the serial like?

I run my disc at 3.5 and that has been working really well for me. It will still pick up the pull tabs but not the nails.
