ANYBODY HAVE A 1266X?QUESTION I HAVE IS,DOES ANYONE USED THE SECOND DISC.WHILE HUNTING SOME PEOPLE SAY THEY NEVER MESS WITH IT?I GUESS THERE ARE PROS & CONS.ANYONE HAVE ANY FEED BACK ON THIS SUBJECT?THANKS:biggrin:

:pulltab:BILL

I USUALLY SET DISC 1 AROUND FOIL AND DISC 2 WHERE A PULLTAB JUST STARTS TO DISC OUT. IT USUALLY DEPENDS ON THE SITE I'M HUNTING AND HOW MUCH TRASH THERE IS. IN A MANICURED LAWN I WILL ALWAYS USE BOTH DISCS TO CHECK A TARGET. IN A FIELD OR SIMILAR TYPE SITE I WILL NORMALLY USE DISC 1 SET LOW AND DIG EVERY SIGNAL. HAVING 2 DISCRIMINATION POINTS TO CHECK A TARGET WITH CAN BE VERY USEFUL BEFORE DIGGING. THE 1266 IS A CLASSIC AND MY FAVORITE MACHINE. SURE WISH I HAD A NIB 1266 IN RESERVE FOR THE DAY I FINALLY WEAR THIS MACHINE OUT........THANKS......ROGER
