Do they still make the battery holders for these two? And are they the old snap type wires on ends like the older Tesoro models? Or just slide in type like on CZs?

Fisher 1266/65 Battery holders ?

The 1266 battery holders are pretty much the same as the 1265, but the 1266 don't connect via wire connectors, the battery holder contacts are
in the bottom of the battery box and the battery holders just slide in and then there is foam on the battery compartment lid that holds them firm against
the contacts. With the 1265 the connectors hook up via 9 volt wire type connectors.
You can find these on ebay, although I don't think they are as sturdy as the OEM Fisher, so get a couple sets when you get them.
