fisher 1260x coil ?

digin,

That's a good question and I would be curious to know the answer as well.

I recently acquired an older 11 inch Fisher M-scope coil (with a red emblem on it as opposed to the black and gold design) that uses the same pin design as my 1260. It doesn't work, so I would be careful spending your money unless you can connect it and try it before purchasing it. That said, connecting it and trying it didn't do any damage to the machine.

If anyone does know the answer to digin's question, does anyone know if it is possible to rework an older fisher coil to work with a 1260? I'm not particularly interested in using it, but more need the intellectual exercise of trying to make it work.

Matt
