well went to a place where i've hunted to death and was using the small coil and got a nice 1917 mercury dime and a 1944 wheat after 10 nail digs later, i love being able to crank it up listen to the threshold and listening just wish disc was a little better those old square nails would chime in pretty smooth sometimes!

n/t

yeah i was getting that down and noticed that was the trick and was thumbing the disc to but all in all i realy like this machine!

Best regards

hey would love to the only thing i got make a camera support because it was done on flip video, those of you that have'nt seen it and are interested go to youtube and look up travelinjavelin and you will see my headline for finding the 5 cent piece and finds from a couple years ago using the tesoro silver max, tried to get the video on here but wasn't sure what i was doing wrong?

hope some of this helped, by the way still have'nt heard from dallas yet? i'll get a hold of him again to see whats up!

The 1236x2 is a great detector, and the trash seperation is amazing..
as was sead earlier sppeding up the sweep, changing direction, should get a broken signal or double beep.Use the detune(PP) and should get a smaller Tight response to coins whereas nails will breakup
Learn the tones and You will be able to read a coin thru a handfull of nails.
Do need a good pinpointer,Though,
I love those Mercs, and the 1236 seems to love them(i found 17 last year)
I am just about to watch your Utube video.
Happy Hunting,Mont.
