Fisher 1220

Old Dan

New member
I have an old 1220 that a friend gave me, and I need to find someone who can do some electronic repair on it. When I got it, the battery clips were broken off, and I put new ones on. Apparently I crossed a wire or two in the process, and when I turned the unit on, I blew a capacitor. I watched it go up in smoke. I can replace the capacitor, but not knowing what I did wrong, I will just blow another one if I try to fix it myself. So - if anyone knows someone who does this kind of repair please email me at molderbrown@verizon.net Thanks
