Fisher 1210-X

Have a Fisher 1210-X on its way to me. I am curious on how it will stack up with the Tesoro Compadre. Anyone ever use a Fisher 1210-X, I know they haven't been made for along time. Steve.

A Fisher now!!!
Man, you sure get around.......

I rolled over to a Fisher again myself, the last newest one I owned was a CZ5, years ago.
I am thinking I like the ID Edge over my Tesoro Eldo, not sure if I want to give up the Eldo yet.
Maybe...??

You have to give me a warning when your going to sell something, I might be interested!

Good luck with your Fisher 1210, you can download the full size flyer from my site:

Hi Sven, yup I get around lol. While "googling" the 1210 I ran across the flyer and saved it to my computer. Thanks!

P.S. You said - I am thinking I like the ID Edge over my Tesoro Eldo. It must be just a thought as I am betting the Eldo can "edge" out the Edge ;):)

Hmmmm, The Edge all metal mode is not as smooth or crisp sounding as the Eldo that's why I am thinking it should stay. Besides I like knobs and switches........In disc mode the Edge is definitely deeper and has nicer tones
that I have always liked about the Fishers instead of the Quackity quack like sound of the Tesoros. For a metered machine with multiple tones that can somewhat ID Canadian
coins is what I bought it for and it does get the job done. Might just be a good machine for my wife to use too, she has some limited detecting capabilities where a ID machine is a better choice than a beep and dig machine.

Hope to get out with the Edge tonight.

See ya

Talk about bad luck, I feel so bad for the fella that I was getting the Fisher 1210-X from. His mom just had a stroke and things don't look well for her and when he came out of the hospital from visiting her someone broke out his window and stole everything he had in his vehicle including the Fisher 1210-X that he had with him because he was going to ship it out to me that day. He immediately reimbursed me for it so no problem there but I just can't believe the nerve that a person could have to do such a cruel thing. I talked to the guy I was going to get the detector from a couple of times on the phone and he seems like a great fella, I am sending him and his mom the best and am so sorry for all the bad luck & hope things turn around for the better. A detector is only a detector but a mom can't be replaced. Steve.

P.S. I found and bought a Fisher 1212-X from someone on the forum so I will be getting something similar to the Fisher 1210-X.

Hey Steve, I hate when I hear stories like this.
I'll bet that unit wound up in a local pawn shop or on craigslist.

If you talk to him again give him our best.
