Firsts of 2008

fabulous....keep up posted when you go back..You know there's more !!

Those are great.. Congratulations. There's got to be more where they came from.

Just out of curiosity, which coil were you using?

I use the 10.5DD. I think that coil is the most versatile. It can also go just as deep if not deeper than the EXII with the same coil. I have both, and I use the X70 more. I find that it is more accurate with the TID at 8 to 9 inches. I found a seated time last week that is in pretty bad shape but it was about 9 inches down and the signal and TID were glued to 38.

that the Walking Liberty half is one of the most impressive looking coins ever made. Good luck and HH for the rest of 2008. Bob.

Congrats on a couple FINE looking coins!! Really good condition. Sure wish snow would melt and warm up here in Iowa.
Thanks for posting, keeps me entertained until I can get out again.
Bill

Nice silvers in good shape. Now, where in the Northeast are you? We're covered in 3 feet of snow :sadwalk:

Oldcellar... thanks for the info on the 10.5 DD coil. I'm leaning towards that coil for my next purchase, but most advise that I get the 6" 7.5 kHz or the 6" 18.75 kHz DD coil, instead.

Think I'm coming down with a case of "information overload".
