First wireless detector

French company about to launch a completely wireless detector. Take a look at the link and see this amazing machine. Seems like the European's are outpacing the US in terms of technology. XP Detectors are very highly regarded in Europe.

hiya guys, actually the xplorer machines are exceptionally good,i had an xp 250 adx and it was excelent,,but like all machines they have success on most coins but not all,,you will find coins at extraordinary depths,,but you may not find the little silver ones at 6 inches or so ,,,see www.detectortestinfo.com,,,rgds comcat:ukflag:

Apparently these detectors don't meet our FCC requirement so they are not sold in the US right now. Perhaps they are working on it...

I am surprised that all detectors aren't wireless in this day and age. Not much advancement in the industry over the last decade that I can see. Just more bells and whistles in the American market. With few exceptions I don't think there has been much of an attempt to keep pace with the other electronic industries. Especially lacking is the field of miniaturization. There is no reason in the world that a detector weighing over 3 pounds should still be in use. Tesoro seems to be the leader with the others coming along kicking and screaming! I'm sure the French have come up with an inovative detector, but I'll bet it has a bad attitude! :crylol: Onus
