First Winter storm

The forecast was for 1 to 2 inches and so far we have what looks like 4 or so and still coming down. It's really wet and heavy stuff too. I suppose it could have been worse...tomorrow is the anniversary of the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. All of you from the upper midwest will remember the story and I would guess that all you others have at least heard the Gordon Lightfoot song. On a lighter note, its supposed to be up i the 50's for the weekend so I may get a couple more hunts in.

I loved that song and always get a real strange feeling when I hear it. I'm not a "sea-farin" man, but wonder if I weren't one in a previous life. God bless those men and their families.
