First white at the beach - a crosses and silver day

The final stages of a typhoon came through last night, with strong winds and heavy rain. Took the Seahunter Mk II out for a look around the beach after the sky cleared up. Four hours detecting. Pretty big waves and gusts of wind lifting any dry sand there was - another good thing about headphones is they sure help keep sand out of your ears. Hard conditions to detect in today. As usual, only me swinging a coil. Other people at the beach were standing with their backs to the wind and sand like penguins in a blizzard.
Mostly silver rings again, with a newcomer to the scene - my first 14K white gold ring.
Also a possible ruby ring with little diamonds either side - have my doubts on that one though and will see what it looks like cleaned.
The cross pendant chain was actually in two pieces, great to hit both sections of it.
Around the equivalent of US$15 in coins.

Hey you had quite a day. Looks like you found some Chinese coins.
Bill

BILL(OR), all Japanese coins in that bunch and reasonably modern ones. Did get my first Hong Kong coin at the same beach last week though.

Hey Ian, you ought to show your goods off on the water hunting forum sometime. Apparently those guys don,t believe Garretts are capable machines or maybe we're just ignorant. Minelabs seem to be what I hear about the most. When the Gulf Huntress and I figure out how to post pics I will do the same. SEA HUNTER MARK II RULES!!! Keep up the good work!
