This pic includes everything I found during the 6 hunts this week which include $35.48 in clad. Nothing old but did find a gun barrel, rabies dog tag, a butterfly pendant, a sketchers pendant and a 1963 canadian cent the year I was born...winter is returning so all my equipment came back in and will probably be a while before I get out again...the record temps (60 degrees) all week are gone...back to teeens...

First week out this year lots of clad

I cleared $750 in clad last year so $800 in clad and 25 silver coins....hopefully the gold rings and jewelry will just come with the hard work as they did last year... As you know cold weather is coming back...I wiped myself out with those 6 hunts since not being out since early December... Sick...cold..run down so I am glad in a way the weather is cooling off again...because if it was still warm would probably hunt anyways even though sick...

Nice Start for the new year Greg. today was my first day out for the 2008 season and came back with 21 pennys, 12 dimes, 7 quarters 1 womans small 14k gold ring, 1 junk mens ring, And about 500 pull tabs which i left those behind.
