First underwater hunt 2013

Nothing special...but had fun. I like finding skeleton keys...4th one from this site. Don't have a pic of it now but I dug a lead spoon, feels too heavy for pewter. Why would someone make a lead spoon?

Nice lead. I guess watewr finds don't have the white lead oxide patina on them? Looks like you have a productive site, and it is warm enough down in Texas to water hunt.

Everything lead comes out black. Water is cold....but not freezing. My waders leaked which the boys didn't appreciate so it was a short hunt. What you don't see are the 20+ fishing weights. Have yet to find the first coin.... Have pulled two U.S. plates from here.

Very nice! I gave river hunted a try but the bottom was all mud... I know there are lots of relics there waiting.

Would love to try that but cant see more than 2" underwater here in this mud. Good job. CCH
