I got my permission from PDNR to metal detect in the Delaware River Canal State Park yesterday so I took my first crack at it. They actually have a fair amount of rules to follow but given enough time and luck I should still find something. Today was a wheatie in pretty poor shape. That's OK because I ended up nicking it with my screwdriver anyway. I gotta get better at getting these coins out with the screwdriver. It's a start!
