First trip with Excalibur II

Greetings, Got very short time out with my new Excalibur II. Went to Creek that borders my
back property line. Only had half hour and found these two items.

One is pocket knife and unsure what other item is from, maybe old sewing machine part.

That first piece is an interesting find
Is there any writing or numbers on it???

No numbers, that I have located yet. My wife loves the look of it and I
think it will end up gloss black and put with all her other Victorian stuff.

I love the Excalibur, and the sounds seem to be understandable to me,
different from all my others, not a problem to listen to.

Now I need to build up my metal detecting funds again for a Brownie Third Lung,
maybe a early Xmas - Birthday gift?
