]WELL THE DAY DID NOT START OUT WRITE I FOR GOT MY SCOOP AT THE HOUSE,I CANT TELL THE TONES YET MAYBE ALITTLE,
I DID ALOT OF DIGING WOW IM STIFF BUT I DID FIND GOLD I FOUND TO RINGS AND A JUNK WATCH SOME CHANGE,THE EXCAL IS WITH OUT A DOUGH THE BEST DETECTOR THAT I EVER OWN IT IS ALITTLE ON THE SENSITIVE SIDE IT TAKES SOME GETTING USE TO, THE DEPTH I REALLY CANT SAY EVERYTHING I DUG WAS ABOUT FIVE INCHES ITS A HOT BEACH DETECTOR ILL NEVER USE ANY OTHER DETECTOR FOR THE BEACH OTHER THAN EXCAL,ILL `KEEP YOU GUYS POSTED BOY IM WHIP!!!!!:shocked:

VE IT THE TONES WERE VERY GOOD,I CAN TELL WHEN I HIT A QUARTER IT GIVES OFF A HIGH TONE THE RINGS I THINK WERE A LOW TONE,MAN IF YOU COULD RUN IT AT MAX SEN,BOY THE DEPTH WOULD BE UNBELIEVABLE,I ENJOY USING IT IM BACK TO HAVING FUN!!!!!!!I NEED TO GET A SCALE NOW !!!!!!!THANKS GUYS FOR ALL YOUR HELP <ESPECIALLY YOU GULF HUNTER>!!!!!IM FINDING GOLD MATES!!!!!!:hot:

So I'm new but assume that the ls in your name stands for infinium. So did you get rid of the infinium? Have you used the infinium a lot at the beach, I want to get back into water detecting and don't want to pay a lot of money for the wrong machine. Thank all of you on these forums for sharing, Mike

The Excal is an incredible surf machine and outperforms most other detectors in its' natural environment, the surf. From time to time I consider getting a PI machine but until there is a quantum leap in PI technology (like say the TDI in a submersible housing) I'm sticking with my Excal!:thumbup:

ALL I WILL TELL YOU IS THE GARRETT IS NOT A BAD DETECTOR,BUT IF YOU WANT TO DIG IRON THE LS IS FOR YOU,THE EXCAL HAS A IRON MASK,IT NULLS WHEN YOU HIT IRON,ILL HAVE TO CHANGE MY NAME NOW!!!!THE GARRETT DOES NOT GIVE ENOUGH INFO ,THE EXCALS HAVE A GOOD BIT OF TONES NOT JUST HI-LO OR LO-HI ,BUT I WILL SAY THIS THE GARRETT IS BUILT BETTER ALOT BETTER!!!!!!!:super:
