New member
went out for few hours today " first tot lot " just 2 many tagets for me in allmetal so I had the sens set at full CCW disc @ iron and alt disc @ foil the lot was quite trashy and at these settings I found the tejon ran nice an quiet disc'd well and I had no trouble ID'ing the targets

Nice haul,

makes you wonder what those other targets were.

Thnks for sharing,

yeah theres enough to buy a counter meal & coke there Beale so I was happy plus it was an enjoyable way to spend a sunny winters afternoon

I hear'ya tabdog  as that was my first totlot and a very popular one at that I pass'd up some very good signals aswell , due to a carpet of fine tree roots running through the chip bark when I would dig they would ripp the surface up over a large area like cooch grass and being surrounded by mums & tots watching my every move I just had to hold back . I 'I have to get up there early in the morning in the thick fog to dig those targets when no ones around

I've been in those with root mats.

I did just like you.

I chose my time and got a forked back hoe.

That way I could pull big clumps of roots without bending over.

It didn't take that long in the one I did. Not when I went at it in earnest.

I didn't find that much, but it helped the tot lot for future hunting

and playing.

Happy Hunting,

HeyTrueblue ...

That's great Trueblue, Thomas's notes were a series of posts on the Tejon a few years ago.
~ I copied his series of posts for my own reference.

After reading Scullys review on the Tejon, and the great posts people were doing, I HAD to get me one !!!

Folks were asking for more operator info on the Tejon, so I converted Thomas's posts into a PDF.
And made them available...

It's great to know that you were able to download his stuff, ~ he really goes into things huh !
