Hadn't swung the coil over anything since last Friday, so talked my buddy Chris into braving the heat for a while this afternoon and we hit a patch of ground that will soon harbor a business. Ground breaking hadn't yet started, but will shortly by the looks of things. I had the A T Pro with Sharpshooter coil hooked up and all in all, we each dug some keepers.
Most notable for me was the 42d Washington quarter and the 44p Jefferson nickel. Also got 5 wheat cents, all in the 40's and 50's. The broken bracelet was fun, coming out of a 5" area in pieces. It was a bouncy nickel range reading, but no markings and doesn't pass the smell test. Conditions are getting tough down here in the mid south for digging and heat wise, it is early morning hunting now for a while. I am not a night hunter like Mr CZ and Mr Mud are, so will have to sweat for the next few months. HH jim tn
