First time to VA beach?

Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum but not to this site. I post on the relic forum alot. Well any way I'm going on vaction to VA beach for the first time ever(going to take the water detector). I was just wondering if there's any laws I should know about hunting the beaches or is it like up here in Ocean City,MD you just go hunt.I know this is going to be a hot question but I'll ask it any way. Where is a good spot to hit? I know up hear just about any where in front of the fancy hotels is good and probably early monring and early evenings are the good times? We will be around 40 th st and the ocean it looks like(where ever that is!). THANKS FOR ANY ADVANCED INFO.

hunt anywhere u like, it is hard to hunt the dry stuff during the day because of the bodies, but some dry sand hunter do it................B U T JUST A FEW

COME EAST TO THE SURFLANE AND HUNT THE REAL DAMP SAND AND AS FAR EAST AS U DECIDE TO GO

LOW TIDE TIM AND I WILL ARRIVE 26TH STREET AROUND 9AM............LOW TIDE IS LIKE 11AM ISH OR SO

IF U READ DOWN, A POST OR TWO, U WILL SEE TIDE CHART THAT THE PROFESSOR POSTED

JUST LOOK FOR TWO OLD GUYS DRAGGING THEIR SCOOPS

Looks like we will be heading that way around the 10 th or 11 th. I am a morning person and like to get out early(around 6 AM or so). I don't plan on finding anything really good I just love to hunt.From the post below (YANKEES GO HOME!!)I'll be THINKING!!.
