first time out and the first signal I found this silver bracelet <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol"> Is there a way to tighten up the disc level knob it kept moving on me found lots of coins and pulltab pinpoints great didnt have a pinpointer with was looking for gold rings but no luck its a fun md HH RonC

Can you put a rubber washer under the knob so it creates a friction against moving. I do this on some of my Tesoros. I have to drill the center out on a flat faucet washer and put them under the knobs. Hope this helps let us know and Happy Hunting

Thats really nice! I like the design. Its very unusual! Good job Ron!

Nice find Ron! Good to hear you getting out with the Cortes. Looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts on it.
Ive read people put an "O" ring behind the knobs that move. Sounds like it would work. Theres a small allen screw that holds the knobs on.
HH and continued success with the Cortes,
Neil
