Don't let anyone tell you the AT Gold isn't hot on coins. I was very impressed. I haven't been out at all in a few weeks due to a combination of bad weather and a very busy work schedule. I hit a few spots in the woods today which have produced some good coins in the past. Decided o take the AT Gold out for it's maiden voyage, I felt bad leaving the ATP behind, but the Gold did not let me down. Also found a few wheat's, a buffalo nickel and some other odds and ends. Enjoy.

ps Yank that big coil off the AT Pro while its resting, and try that out on the Gold while your experimenting:devil::thumbup:
 
I wish it was an 8 real, this one is only a little 1/2 real, smaller than a dime and paper thin. The biggest I've ever found was a 2 real. But they are nice to find whatever the size.

Hopefully I'll be able to get back out before we freeze up. I do want to try out the bigger coil on the gold. I'll let you know how it works out.

I have been working entirely to much and not digging enough. I finally had a weekend off so I spent it digging.

Must be the painkillers the doc gave me this morning after hacking on my foot!!! And yes, I took that pic back in '09, one of my favorites!! Gotta love nature!!
