First time out with golden IMAX

We'll I was finally able to take the golden IMAX out for the first time today. Only had about two hours at a school. Found $2.23, with one wheat cent. Some of the junk did fool me, I dug up one steel bottle cap but is was deep and pretty corroded. Found two beaver tails that sounded with the high tone, one was about 7 inches deep. This machine is going to take a while to learn, but the little bit I did was a lot of fun.

You'll learn faster if you throw a bunch of different targets out on the ground and trying a bunch of different settings.

Do you have the new tone or old tone version?

tabman

Tabman, I have the old tone version, but I bought it brand new from a dealer about two months ago.

I found some nice things with mine , the three tones came in handy when I searched a dirt pile dug up from an old hotel, it was cool hearing the low tone of a nail and then a high would break thru and it was a coin , can't tell you how exited I was when i seen the 1st mercury dime com out , it just gets you going,
